Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of Klymb Studio (“Klymb”, “we”), available at klymbstudio.com. By creating an account you accept them. If you use Klymb on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.
1. The service
Klymb is a platform where brands and agencies run UGC campaigns with independent creators: briefing, video review, messaging, performance tracking and creator payments. Creators use Klymb free of charge and keep 100% of their fees — Klymb takes no commission on creator payments. Klymb's revenue comes from brands and agencies: the platform subscription, the payment fee on creator payments (section 4) and Sourcing by Klymb.
2. Accounts
You must be 18 or older. Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. Subscriptions
- Brand and agency plans are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe, at the price shown at checkout. An agency's plan is billed for each app (client workspace) it manages, plus a per-app fee; adding an app updates the subscription, prorated. A payment method is required to subscribe. The first charge occurs immediately — or, when Klymb has offered a free trial, when the trial ends.
- Each plan includes limits — team seats, active creators, tracked videos per month and creators sourced by Klymb per month — shown on the pricing page and in your billing settings. Beyond a limit, adding more is paused until you upgrade; videos already linked keep being tracked and creators keep being paid.
- You can cancel at any time from your billing settings or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise.
- Without an active subscription, launching new campaigns, sending briefs and inviting creators are paused. Reviewing work already delivered and paying creators always remain available.
4. Creator payments
- Klymb does not hold a balance for brands. A brand saves a payment card on its workspace; launching a campaign that pays creators requires one. Nothing is charged when a campaign is launched.
- An approved deliverable creates a payment at the amount agreed on the campaign. The brand pays it — one at a time, several at once, or automatically each week for creators it switches to Auto — and its card is charged that amount, plus Klymb's payment fee (a percentage set by Klymb, shown on the pricing page and before each payment), at that moment. Creators receive 100% of the agreed amount. The money is then sent to each creator through Stripe Connect. Creators must complete Stripe's identity verification to be paid.
- If a charge is declined, the payments stay due, and launching campaigns and sending new offers are paused until they are settled. Brands are responsible for reviewing work before approving it.
5. Creator invoices (self-billing)
This section takes effect on October 19, 2026.
Every creator agreement signed on Klymb includes a self-billing mandate: a creator registered as a business authorizes the brand to issue the invoices for their services in the creator’s name and on their behalf (Article 289 I-2 of the French General Tax Code; Article 224 of Council Directive 2006/112/EC). A creator acting as a private individual receives a statement of services instead, which is not an invoice.
When you pay creators through Klymb, you:
- accept this mandate for each creator you work with;
- instruct Klymb to draw up and issue these documents on your behalf after each payment, from the payment itself and from the details the creator gives on the platform (country of tax residence, status, identity, address, registration and VAT numbers);
- remain responsible for your own tax obligations on these purchases, including any VAT you must account for yourself under a reverse charge.
Each document is made available to the creator, who can contest it through the platform within 15 days. A corrected document cancels and replaces the contested one; an issued invoice is never deleted.
6. Content
- Creators retain ownership of the content they produce until the campaign's agreed terms transfer or license it to the brand. The rights granted for each campaign are those stated in the campaign brief and contract generated on the platform.
- You grant Klymb the technical license needed to host, process and display content on the platform (and nothing more).
- You are responsible for the content you upload: it must not infringe third-party rights or applicable law.
7. Acceptable use
No unlawful, fraudulent or abusive use; no attempts to circumvent payment flows, scrape the platform, probe its security, or access other tenants' data. We may suspend accounts that break these rules, after notice where practicable.
8. Third-party services
Klymb integrates Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting, video), Supabase (database, EU) and the official APIs of TikTok, Meta and Google for performance metrics. Their services are governed by their own terms. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
9. Availability & liability
We work to keep Klymb available and secure, but the service is provided “as is”, without warranty of uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, Klymb's total liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the event. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 15 days before taking effect. Continuing to use Klymb after that constitutes acceptance.
11. Law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by French law. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Paris, France, subject to mandatory consumer protections.
